- INARF Member Organization Staff whose primary responsibilities include direct contact with persons served and who exhibit passionate support and dedication to high-quality supports and services to individuals with disabilities.
- Proof of employment at an INARF Organizational Member organization.
- Minimum two years of employment at the nominating Member’s organization.
- Focused on person-centered supports.
INARF member organization may submit (2) nominations.
Nomination Review Process
All nominations are due on or before Friday, May 24, 2024. INARF Member Organization may submit (2) nominations.
Selection Process:
- Nominations received by deadline are coordinated by Ability Indiana Staff, ensuring all nominees names are held confidential.
- Ability Indiana Board of Directors reviews all submissions, selecting up to 4 finalists.
- 4 finalists are sent to Costa Miller’s children for final selection of 2 award winners (and prioritizing a 3rd and 4th).
- Individual submitting the nomination will be notified on or before July 26, 2024 of the status of the nomination.
In the event that an award recipient has left their organization prior to receiving the award, the next person (deemed 3rd then 4th) would be eligible to receive the award. If a nomination is received from a person not employed at an INARF member agency, the CEO from the nominee’s agency is contacted to assure there is no reason not to advance the nomination and share who the nominator was.
